Born on the side of a mountain
No really, the Hedzup concept was born on the side of a mountain!
From an idea to provide youths the opportunity to experience the outdoors and broaden their horizons, Hedzup has grown into a centre of excellence for youth development.

The initial concept was developed by Ian Pert (ex-mountain rescue) and Ewan Stewart (Ex-Police Scotland) whilst awaiting a helicopter during a mountain rescue callout.
​
It is an idea that has grown into the current Hedzup providing youth support and development, outdoor pursuits and opportunities for underprivileged youths to develop for a brighter future.
